What a photographer notices that a brochure won't tell you
After four thousand weddings, a venue tour looks different to us than it does on a website. Here is what we check for on your behalf — and what we will flag before you sign.
- Ceiling height at the mandap — decides whether a wide ritual frame is even possible.
- Window direction and time of day — the difference between glowing portraits and flat ones.
- Baraat entrance and approach — how much run-up the procession gets, and where we can stand.
- Getting-ready rooms — natural light and space beat a chandelier every time.
- Drone and open-flame policy — worth confirming long before the day itself.
- Portrait spots within walking distance — because you will have twenty minutes, not two hours.
